چکیده

Shot hole, caused by Stigmina carpophila (Lev.) M.B. Ellis, is a major fungal disease for apricots and it causes serious economic loss in Turkey. To protect from the various destructive effects of shot hole disease, excessive fungicide used, which may lead to severe damage ecosystem. One most beneficial alternative ways minimize or eradicate hazardous fungicides use resistant/moderately resistant varieties. This study was conducted examine susceptibility 9 domestic 10 foreign (in total 19) apricot cultivars shot-hole 2014 2015. The were tested under natural inoculation no applied trial. Disease symptoms observed separately on fruits leaves. Analysis leaves showed that named Çağataybey (32.30%), Sakıt-7 (26.30%), Şekerpare (25.03%) had highest levels severity while Wilson Delicious (11.41%), Ivonne Liverani (12.54%), Borsi Rozsa (14.35%) lowest levels. Findings fruit evaluations demonstrated found (50.87%), (50.15%) Sakıt-2 (49.85%) Aprikoz (17.45%), Zard (17.69%), Hasanbey (21.28%). Statistical analysis between leaf severities illustrated moderate positive correlation. However, statistical difference ripening periods. lower than those cultivars. Determination resistances domestic-foreign with high quality thought provide great advantage selecting parents be used as source resistance breeding studies.

SRAP based genetic analysis of some apricot cultivars

Apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.) is an important fruit species in Turkey with high level of economic value. Sequence related amplified polymorphism (SRAP) markers were used for the first time to determine genetic diversity and relationships among Turkish and some foreign apricot cultivars. A total 87 bands were obtained from SRAP analysis and 63 of them (73%) were polymorphic. Similarity values am...
